Off Shore Report: If Yogi Berra was still alive he would say the last few weeks have been like deja vu all over again! Here we have been fishing in April looking for and catching Mahi. The next thing you know it’s blowing wind out of the north 20 knots and temperatures drop as if it was winter again. Naturally almost all the charter boats in town have been catching Sailfish everyday. It has been fantastic reef fishing for Sailfish, Big Mutton Snapper, Yellow Tail Snapper, Wahoo, Black Fin Tunas, and Mahi Mahi. We could not be happier down here in Islamorada with outstanding fishing.

Off Shore Forecast: We are anticipating more Mahi Mahi, Black Fin Tunas, and Wahoo. Prior to the recent cold fronts we were catching them regularly. With that said, it is logical to hope we will be catching a lot more Mahi when the water temperature warms up.

Back Country Report: Tarpon, Tarpon, Tarpon, is what is going on. Along with the Tarpon, plenty of Sea Trout, Mangrove Snapper, and Spinner Sharks have been caught in and around the Islamorada area.
